This week I get to talk to my close friend and health and fitness coach, Colleen mama of three. After getting pregnant at 19 and navigating motherhood as a single parent while putting herself through college, Colleen started experiencing some postpartum anxiety. It only got worse once she had her second baby twelve years later, but it really took over her life after having her third baby almost three years ago. As a stay-at-home mom, she found fitness to be a life saver for her mental health and enjoyed it so much she is now a health and fitness coach. 

It is honestly because of her that I am  now on my own health and fitness journey and am loving it so much that I became a coach as well. Exercise is so beneficial for our mental health and as mamas it is so easy to get fully immersed in motherhood and completely forget about ourselves.
